My day in York

Post  Jenna French on Mon Nov 21 2011, 14:43

We walked the cobbled streets today
The bumpy paths marked our way
Through shops and stalls we did roam
As we stopped for coffee and something to eat
Then shopped some more as our treat
We walked until we could walk no more
Then we fell through a pub door
Something nice to drink and a bit of peace
As we entered the golden fleece
We ordered our food and waited for our pub grub
Looking around at everything in this very haunted pub
My sister decided to the toilet she had to go but not alone of course
I said I would go with that soon fill me with remorse
We walked in and all was fine
And before I carry on I swear I'd only had 1 glass of wine
The room went black then lit back up then dark
Flashing lights like there was a thousand sparks
Like the girl I am I let out a scream and ran
I was so scared I even lost my fake tan
So if you fancy a bit of a scare
To golden fleece you should visit go on It's a dare
