Prompt Prompt Prompt

Think of something that COULD HAPPEN, and turn it into a comical poem.
It can be a person, a thing, or an animal.
Just let you imagination go wild

Back to Front

With your pants on back to front
Life really is quite strange
You're forever adjusting yourself
Trying to rearrange

It really is uncomfortable
Pulls your joints out their sockets
Waist of time carrying loose change
As you'll never find your pockets

You keep walking round in circles
Keep asking yourself why
Whenever you use the rest room
You can never find your fly

Its not for the want of trying
The intention is very strong
But one too many strong drinks
And they always go on wrong

One day when you least expect it
You'll give yourself a fright
You won't know what the hell to do
Cause your pants will be on right

Cinnamon and Charlie's True Love

There once was a feller Named Charlie
who loved a sweet girl to no end.
Her name was pure spice as it rolled from his tongue -
Ms. Cinnamon, his German girlfriend.

She was plumpingly pleasant in all the right spots
(and her curves were the talk of the town!)
Yes, with hair the color of rubies,
it was impossible to cut her down.

Oh Charlie, he loved her like springtime
as the flowers grew wild on the hill,
for his lady was pretty beyond all compare
and his heart was duly fulfilled.

Then as the years just traipsed along
quite older the two of them grew,
Ms. Cinnamon's curves developed by leaps
and her figure went hullabaloo!

But Charlie, still loved her like springtime
for her heart was a thing to adore -
so he carried her off in his white pickup truck
for a visit with Doctor Vetmore.

The old Doctor measured so carefully
with a tape that encompassed her waist,
the measure displeased Doctor Vetmore
so he trotted her down to be weighed.

Well, Ms. Cinnamon was put on restrictions,
no begging for bonbons no more.
No fries with red ketchup or fatty steak,
her diet would be quite the drab-bore.

It seems that she wasn't too happy now
for the cravings were really immense,
so she ate a BIG bowl of Purina Dog Chow
and to Charlie, it made little sense.

Soon long ears grew and soft hair appeared
and a stub of a tail peeped right through,
then late in the night he would find her on fours
with a steak bone twixt jaws as she chewed.

But Charlie, still loved her like springtime
for her heart was a thing to adore -
so he carried her off in his white pickup truck
for a visit with Doctor Vetmore.

Her heart was fine, her eyes were clear
and her temperature was a-hundred and one.
The doc shook his head and finally spoke,
"I'm sorry son, this can't be undone.

So this is the story of Cinnamon
who started out life as a girl.
But now she's a Canis, and to Charlie that's fine . . .
what the heck, he'll give it a whirl!
