I will always be polite

Go down

I will always be polite

Post  peewee on Wed Oct 06 2010, 11:38

I will always be polite

They all think I like them
Well that's not really true
But the two faced beggars
Just haven't got a clue

I know what they are thinking
And I know what they say
And most of them
I wouldn't give the time of day

All smiles when they want stuff
Say one thing to your face
Soon as your back is turned
They tell tales all over the place

You'd think when you see them
They were like sister and brother
But the two faced bitches
Would even shop their mother

There a few I like
That treat me really well
But the rest of the selfish women
Can go to bloody hell

To my genuine friends thank you
Your friendship I will treasure
But as for the rest of them
They can piss off at their leisure

While I am at work
I will always be polite
But I have to say that I can't wait
Till I get home at night

Good writing:-)

This is why I'm glad I don't have women on my crew. (sorry women). But in my position, I can say more to my men (political correctness) than I could to women. I can relate, Peter.

Well, at the expense of upsetting my female peers on site Very Happy I too have had problems working with women. We can get involved in issues to a fault, but really, that's sorta the way we're made.

As David and I have discussed, women will talk about stuff, not really wanting it 'fixed', but just an ear lent. (Course, that's the way we deal with our men. We DO try to solve problems talking to our women friends:-)

Now men are problem solvers in general. Give em a problem, and usually they'll begin to solve it unemotionally and in a straight forward manner . . . and then it's done. Forgotten. Shelved.

But many women, long after things are righted, or shelved, talk and think and worry because they need to figure out what went wrong - (course, men usually zero in on what went wrong pretty quickly, hence: Done. Forgotten. Shelved.

deep thought

There's a whole host of reasons women seem troubling to men on the job. One thing, some let their mouths over load their butt. Then others join in. That does happen with men too, but usually, their independence disallows that. Might I add men appear not to take the type of chances we women do either. They don't like to get involved in other's affairs. That can be good. It's really the right way in the work arena. But women are drawn to who they perceive to be the underdog OR, the issue of the day.

Some men blame strife among the sexes on PMS, pregnancy; this held women down for years. But then some men can get mad and act immaturely, and are perceived as macho!

Peter is in a fairly female dominated profession. He gets his work done in a timely manner, waylaying the pondering and second guessing that women doing the same job may incorporate in their performance. Perhaps they are jealous, or supposing he has too much 'free time' on his hands due to his efficiency. He's not gay, so he's not interested in joining in on the women conversation. (Boy, we love talking to gay men! It's cute trading 'girlfriend' secrets with them . . . come ON women, you know that's true!:-) So . . . they talk. And apparently, try to make his life on the job HELL! Definitely not right.

What's the answer? In bygone times, women stayed home and took care of the family. They're good at that . . . most are. It was easy then; men had their time, women theirs, and they met back on neutral ground. But times have changed. Women NEED to be in the work force to make ends meet.

So . . . the answer is, hope you get a position where the women like you! Maybe take up wearing a wee bit of liner and keep em guessing

Sorry! bev give flowers
