RiverGlen Riverwrens
Riverbanks River reeds
River Murray secrets hold
Mighty River Murray bold

River gums on riverbend
river rats from river send
river rises up and down
rising river takes their home

Willows wallow on river edge
lizards frollick and make their pledge
willow trunks and limbs their home
no where else these reptiles roam

River fowl in shade do rest
as mother ducks sit tight on nest
Turtles trundle along the banks
marching on holding rank

Only touched on wildlife seen
these riverbanks are mighty keen
to shelter one and care for all
from start of summer to end of fall
