Slow In Stowmarket

Post  RichieO on Fri Aug 17 2012, 06:56

Slow In Stowmarket

Stowmarket for sure
Then driving around
it's like doing a Waltz.
Cos if you wanna go fast
its not gonna last.

'Slow, slow, quick, quick slow'
was all I could go.
A trip of Ten took Twenty
minutes to do.
From Brockford to Stowmarket was
slow an average of forty
I did but go.

But to top it all off
was a very hungry man
who kept texting me
asking "Where are you now".

Stopping but more then
once to answer the call
the poor old soul got thirstier
for more beer.

On arriving at my
destination in Suffolk
I met the bloke who did
but suffer the hunger
and the thirst.
I reminded this Matey
that you'll know for sure
you have to go so.....
Slow in Stowmarket.

Slow! too slow!?
I'll have you know
Tis' how we like to pace
To breathe life in
Now there's the thing
Not miss it, in the race!!
