The Bench

We place this bench in memory
of our Nan, we loved so much
passed away, so far away
though our hearts and souls still touched
She warmly shared her heart and home
herself and all she owned
a Grandmother who loved us all
rarely heard her moan or groan
We've cried our river of tears
wiped the sorrow from our cheeks
now we have a special place
where we can go and talk each week
On the banks of the River Murray
we have placed this bench for you
where our love will continue to flow
where we can sit with you in our thoughts
If you decide to pay us a visit
enjoy the tranquility around
sit on the bench beside us and
like before, link our hearts and our arms.

Re: The Bench
Such beautiful and touching words Sue...I'm pretty sure that she's smiling down on you and sitting with you on her lovely bench.
